Two Programmes, One Goal

Confident, effective working parents.

MATRI supports working parents through one of the most significant transitions of their careers — parental leave and the return to work.

Each programme is delivered through an online platform, designed to fit around work, leave and family life.
Content is practical, structured and easy to return to, without creating extra pressure at an already busy time.

The Working Mothers Programme

The MATRI Mother's Journey is an 18-month programme designed to support working mothers (or any Primary caregiver) through maternity leave and back into their careers — with coaching, guidance and community at each stage.

It’s been described as “the NCT for the working mother” — because it supports the whole transition, not just the logistics.

Inside the programme, mothers receive a blend of group coaching and practical support to help them leave work feeling strong, maintain confidence while they’re away, and return feeling prepared and capable.

What The Programme Includes

Online Programme Access
(on-demand)

Mothers have unlimited access to the MATRI online programme, allowing them to engage with the video content at any time and return to it as their needs change. The programme explores the real questions that arise across the journey, from how (or whether) to use KIT days, to childcare decisions, confidence and guilt, negotiating flexible working, and finding the right support at home.

3 Live Group Coaching Webinars

Mothers are invited to live group coaching webinars, each designed to support a specific phase of the journey. Sessions are delivered pre-leave, during maternity leave and ahead of return to work, providing timely coaching, practical insight and reassurance at critical transition points. The sessions are interactive, helping mothers navigate uncertainty, rebuild confidence and prepare for conversations and decisions that shape their return to work.

Expert Webinars

The Mothers Programme also includes live expert webinars with specialist contributors, offering evidence-based insight into key topics that support mothers through maternity leave and the transition back to work.

Online Community

Participants get access to a community forum of professional women, a place to feel less alone, share questions, and stay connected to others going through the same stage of working motherhood.

The Working Fathers Programme

The Working Fathers Programme is designed for fathers taking parental leave — whether a few weeks or several months — who want practical, thoughtful support that fits around work and family life.

While organisations increasingly encourage fathers to take leave, many offer little guidance on how to navigate the transition itself. As a result, fathers are often left to work things out alone — relying on assumptions, default patterns and outdated expectations.

This programme exists to change that.

It provides fathers with structured, accessible guidance to help them step into parenthood more intentionally, support their partners more effectively, and return to work with clarity and confidence.

A programme designed for flexibility

The Working Fathers Programme is delivered entirely online and on demand.

Fathers can access the programme at any time — before leave begins, during time away, or after returning to work — depending on what support they need and when.

This makes the programme easy for organisations to offer at scale, and easy for fathers to engage with alongside work and caring responsibilities.

What the programme supports

Becoming a parent brings significant changes — not just at home, but in identity, priorities and expectations. For many fathers, these shifts go unspoken and unsupported.

The Working Fathers Programme supports fathers to:
Prepare for parental leave with greater awareness and intention
Understand the mental and emotional load involved in early parenthood
Build confidence in their role as a caregiver
Support partners in practical, emotional and sustainable ways
Navigate changing identities at home and at work
Return to work without automatically reverting to old patterns

Rather than prescribing how fathers should show up, the programme creates space for reflection, learning and conscious choice.

Why this matters...

When parents are supported well through parental leave and return to work, organisations see tangible business benefits.

  • Stronger retention and lower replacement costs by keeping experienced, mid-career talent

  • Faster re-engagement and higher focus as parents return with greater confidence and clarity

  • More balanced parental dynamics, reducing long-term pressure on working mothers

  • Healthier, more sustainable ways of working across teams

  • Greater trust and credibility, as parental values are consistently experienced — not just written into policy
